Filipinos are avid fans of superhero films, we all love the concept of saving the world from the bad guys using super strength, the ability to fly, move objects through our minds, or any other out-of-this-world powers acquire from objects that came from outer space or a human experiment. It shows how we highly appreciate this kind of movie genre when the 2nd highest-grossing film of all time, Avengers: Endgame earns a total of $32,839,486 in our country in 2019.
Avengers Endgame (2019) was part of The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films produced by Marvel Studios. There are currently 27 movies, 7 TV series (currently divided into 4 phases), and many more future projects in this franchise.
Last April 24, marked the 3rd year since moviegoers last heard "Avengers Assemble!" the famous line Captain America (Chris Evans), on the big screen. Endgame was the last movie of the infinity saga in phase 3 of the MCU, this movie indeed, ended an era as the Earth-616 loses its two original Avengers, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Iron
Man (Robert Downey Jr.)
The most anticipated question after the last Avenger movie is "What will happen after the Endgame?". Some fans think that what may come next might not be as good as the former movies, however, the brilliant mind of Marvel's Producer Kevin Feige is invincible. Marvel Studios start to produce TV series featuring the life of the surviving heroes after the Battle of Earth.

The first installment in phase 4 of MCU is called Wandavision, it highlights the story of Wanda Maximoff A.K.A Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). The 9 episode series is set three weeks after the Blip (Hulk's snap). After the Battle of Earth, Wanda goes back to Wakanda to retrieve the body of the vision but Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Division (S.W.O.R.D) already evacuated and dismembered the body of her lover.
A full of grief Wanda retrieved vision from S.W.O.R. D’s headquarters, knocked out some guys, and fly away. Because of too much pain and sadness as she can't detect any life on Visions' body, she accidentally unleashed chaos magic leading the whole town of Westview in New Jersey lies under her reality-warping power. Maximoff creates an alternate reality where she lives a normal life with Vision, has two twin kids, and with her now-alive brother, Pietro Maximoff.
The whole series tackles one of the most controversial issues of the present time—mental health. Wanda suffers from grief and trauma that keeps knocking her down and clouding her decisions. She uses her power to alter reality as a response to her trauma by bringing back all the loved ones she lost. The audiences who suffer from trauma relate to Wanda and the amount of love this series got is insane. Fans also think that this series gets Wanda the closure she deserves from all the passing of her friends and families.
In the end, she chooses to stop and defeat the true evil in the west view, Agatha Harkness who is using dark chaos magic, the one who deceived her to become a villain. With the help of her imaginary family and some people outside the Westview, she shut down the villainess, frees the town she hostages, and fled the scene.

Marvel Fans are left in shock after the Endgame, as America's greatest captain Steve Rogers, chooses to travel back in time and spend most of his life with his beloved Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). The Dilemma now is that he ages and needs to find a new Captain America, the bearer of the shield with stripes and stars. With James " Bucky" Barnes's a.k.a The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) approval, he chooses Sam Wilson a.k.a The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to take over but this is just the start of a new story.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was the second TV series in MCU Phase 4. It features the struggle of Sam Wilson and his journey as the appointee of Steve Rogers together with the former captain's best pal, Bucky.
The series is set a few months after the Blip, Sam decided to surrender the shield to the government since he felt undeserving. Bucky convinces him to respect Steve's last will but then it's too late since the government finds a new Captain America, John Walker. Falcon and Bucky jump on a private mission to gather information about the said group at the same time, Walker, together with his loyalist group also tries to bring down the group. In shock, soldiers discover that Karli's group takes a super-soldier serum making them hard to defeat.
This series got numerous hates since it tackles racism, Sam Wilson can't accept the responsibility of being the new Captain America since black people are poorly treated in their homeland and he doesn't want to taint the reputation of the former by being a black replacement to a perfect white, blonde, blue-eyed Captain America.
In the end, Sam finds himself training to be the next Captain America. Embodying the characteristic of the captain, he finally understands what the Flag Smashers fighting for. In the end, he stands for the people and not for the government by giving justice to Karli's death and voicing out what his people needs.
