Sunset Stories is a personal blog of Nica Marie Perfecto Hernaez, a 20-year-old, Polytechnic University of the Philippines student. She is currently in the second year of taking a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Her passion for writing ignited when she was in her primary years, specifically, when one of her teachers discover her talent in writing and recruited her to the school publication.

She loves poems, art, sci-fi movies, and music as they broaden her imagination and she picks up inspiration to write from those. Through blogging, she writes down words that are left unsaid and need to be said. She usually writes in the Filipino language as it makes her comfortable and she still learning the English language.

She dreams of traveling the world someday together with her friends and family. One of her goals is to pass the Licensure Exam for Teachers as she also wants to inspire students, the same way she was inspired by one of them.
